Did you know that Mango Blog traps and logs all sorts of errors (mostly from plugins)? And did you know that these logs are visible to the public?

They are!

http://your.blog.com/components/utilities/logs/warning.log.html
http://your.blog.com/components/utilities/logs/error.log.html

These two logs are extremely helpful when writing and debugging plugins, but they are kind of a pain to keep track of and manage… Not to mention you probably don't want to leave them there permanently for just any schmoe to see.

This plugin simply shows when you have error/warning logs, and lets you view and delete them from the comfort of your Mango admin.

After you activate the plugin, a new link is added to the left navigation of your Mango admin. When there are errors, it turns bold and the icon changes:

Clicking it shows a page where you can view and clear your logs:

Click the "Warning Log" or "Error Log" links to view their contents on the page. Click the "Clear logs" link to delete them.

Good work Adam... I think I'm right in thinking that the components directory will not be publicly accessible in a future release of Mango, but this will be a useful tool nonetheless...

And I'm intrigued to know what "Com Whore" is ;-)

I have MangoBlog 1.4 (latest), and clicks don't seem to do anything. Is the plugin broken?
